I'm sorry, but I really can't. As far as I knew, he and Majima were on reasonable terms, and he didn't really talk about any of the people he'd come to know since the bus trip.
He tended to give people more chances than they deserved, though. Even if he was on bad terms with someone, it didn't mean he would ignore them. Even a stranger could have easily taken advantage of his good nature long enough to do something, if they worded things right.
