[ WELL IT'S PROBABLY FINE!! she is trying to weld them together but? basically is just poking at them with the iron? ]

she has no idea how to do it. it's fine. ]

Why are there no soldering manuals here...

I guess they assume we know how to use this kind of stuff. Like the washing machines.

[ She points over to a wall where a bunch of other power tools are hanging! Beside it is a pile of loose junk, which may or may not have some papers buried in it. ]

[ she's glad they're both invested in this extremely important venture that is in no way a distraction coping method. and meanwhile she's... starting to poke at other metal scraps laying around with the iron. haha. melty. ]

but she finds solder... does she know what it is? no. but she found it. ]

This is an inconvenient time for someone who knows how all this works to not be here.
