We're all complicit in sentencing an innocent man and condemning him for trying to fight back, regardless of how distasteful anyone does or doesn't find his methods.
[ so the fact that some people got up on their moral high horses...
it's tiring. at the end of the day, two innocents fought, even if one was decidedly more well liked as a person, and one died. being rude and uncouth isn't a crime. ]
It was much easier when we could think it wasn't a person, right? That even if the person was still there, they're trapped inside. They'd want this.
If only, huh... But it looks like we're going to have to live with what we've got, for now. And changing peoples' natures is much harder than trying to change the rules of an unfair game.
I don't know. They all went through the same experiences. And in the end, most games - everyone came out alive and well, right? I don't think it's that different.
Sometimes the details do matter, though. Generalizing it... feels almost like trivializing some of it, wouldn't you say?
[ like all of what they went through can be boiled down to 'a lot of people died, but it's fine because (most of the time) they got brought back after.' ]

... I liked the exorcisms more than this. [ Executions. Bad. Also what a terrible greeting, but okay. ]

Did you? I suppose it would be easier, having an obvious enemy to rally against. It was like that for us, too, with the monsters...
[ haha. ]
This way reminds everyone exactly what their actions led to.

Having the enemy of possession was better than knowing that the killer was just... A person.
... And having to see them fight for their life - it's not fair. I don't want them to lose, but that doesn't mean their opponent should lose, either.
[ Whole situation extremely unfair. ]

It'd be nice if they were nicer, maybe. Does that make it their fault, then?

It isn't their fault that they're in this situation, and this situation is the only reason being mean such a big problem...

Right... But that's what I mean what matters is that we shared the experience, even when things were different.
