Yes, exactly. It's good to be able to depend on someone, but it's also important to learn how to be okay on your own - and how to be dependable to others. I guess it's about balance.

You can, because they are complete. Our master was concerned about one of our comrades who may have been acting independently... but that comrade was doing so because they only wished to carry out our master's will without worrying him.
It was a very... sweet situation overall.
But I did get to learn a great deal about compassion and secrecy - and where two much of either may be painful.
That's why it's important to be honest and talk about things with others.
It's best to keep that compassion, but secrecy won't help people. Even if you think it might, like if you don't want to bother someone with something, it's still better to talk to them...
I like new things too - like exploring and seeing new places. But I also like things that are comfortable and familiar. I don't know if I could ever pick a "side," you know?

Maybe not yet - but I think that one day they will be able to. Because at the end of the day, it was love and affection that propelled them forward.
