[ Escha laughs lightly... Haha, fun joke... Anyway. ]
I'm still not exactly sure. We still don't understand a lot of what we find. But I think there's something very beautiful about the way they're falling apart.
Well... The ones I went to most recently... The walls were made of stone. In some areas smooth, with carvings that almost made them look like giant written tablets. Some of them upright, others at odd angles, and with rougher spires almost like randomly growing stalagmites. The floors were covered in geometric patterns, and it was very spacious inside. There were even some areas with flowers blooming in the darkness.
[ Escha could talk for hours about ruins, you should probably stop her. ]
We have a lot of that sort of thing, too. The crumbling exteriors are often covered in vines and moss, and there are usually slags and golems all over - not to mention the wild beasts that still live nearby.
I've never seen any underground ruins in person, but I've heard of them. And what I have seen is ruins floating in the sky!

[ tears or talking, that's. what she's here for, i suppose. ]
What kind of ruins? I'd been through a few back in my world, but I didn't really pay much attention to them.

Tell me what you do know, then. Or things you saw.

H-huh? You want to hear about that sort of stuff?

[ technically, no. ]
Tell me about it, and I'll compare them to the ones I've seen.

Sounds more interesting than mine. Mostly they were overgrown, or buried, and full of pain in the ass monsters.
