Well... They can, over in Central. They have technology there that really opens it up to people without the innate talent... From what I hear.

But they still need to be able to use alchemy to use that technology. Apparently.

So, basically... alchemy's a limited resource, then.

I never really thought about it like that, but I guess so.

That's how I like to think of it. It's a power that we need to be careful with, but it's how we use it that matters.

"Good" and "selfish" aren't always so separate from each other.
