[ I'm just going to say that sometime in the evening, as it gets closer to bedtime, Escha is searching for a spot to claim for herself and finds an open space near Ash!

And at first she kind of. Frowns at him! Because TODAY'S WHOLE-BUS SHOUTED DISCUSSION WAS. A LOT. But after a second snickers, because it. Was also very funny.

Then offers him some sliced apples she has with her! ]

Midnight snack? ... I don't know if it's really midnight, but...

[ does he know she’s from the sex boat that rocked? off the top of my head i do not know. but when he sees the apple slices he sorta blinks, then blinks out the window and then— ]

It's really jarring to not know the time, huh?

[ She nods... Anyway, please God, let him not know. She assumes that everyone knows, though. rip. ]

We'll see. I like to have a snack before bed, so maybe this will help. [ Escha you're not supposed to eat right before bed??? ] But I'm not used to sleeping with this many people around.

I don't actually think there's enough seats and couches for everyone so I can't wait to see people start fighting over those.

Sleeping on the floor is still better than sleeping outdoors, so I don't mind it that much. But I totally understand why people would want to fight over couches.

WEEK 0, wednesday

[ welcome to the kitchen, where ash is sat on the floor - which he's cleaned like three times it has to have stuck by now right? - with one of the cupboards open, a load of packaged ingredients out around him and a thoughtful frown on his face.

[ Escha enters the kitchen and just. Stops. And stares at him?

Perhaps she will understand if she observes from a distance... Like an anthropologist. ]

[ soft david attenborough voice: the wild ash is stalking the cupboards for his prey....

she may understand soon! he puts some things back, and leaves out others — there’s rice, some noodles, a few wrapped bags of different veggies.... ]

[ But who cooks rice and noodles at the same time...

Week 0 Post Trial

[ Hey Ash. Wherever you are, Escha is coming to stand beside you.

... And then not speaking. That was just. A lot. And it's nice to stand near someone. That's all. ]

[ looks like they're throws dart in the kitchen so there's that.

after a moment of just looking around the room like he's figuring out what to do, he lifts a hand and drops it on her head - like a head pat. ]

[ Head pats are nice. Feels a little weird from someone younger than her, but still nice. ]

No, I'm okay. I think it's more fun to drink to celebrate stuff than... [ Well. ]

Nah, not alcohol.

[ he's not reached the point of alcohol dependency yet! although give him ??? weeks, we'll see where he's at. his hand stays there for a moment -- he may be younger, but escha is a solid amount shorter than him so he'll use that height advantage for this -- before he moves off to go dig around in the fridge. ]

There's tea, or ... I dunno if caffeine's the best idea after everything. Could probably make cocoa, or hot milk or something.

[ the cupboards have more than enough things for a hot drink. ]

W1, Monday

[ nothing like the weird peace and quiet after 39 odd people just drink a lot and yelled personal questions at each other for hours on end, huh? ash hasn't moved just yet, just kinda enjoying the quiet for the moment.



after a moment though, he'll crack open one eye to see who's still around and-- aha, hello there escha. ]

[ Being drunk apparently makes Escha very sincere, so she just smiles fondly. ]

[ escha had a little drinky, as a treat. ]

W2, Sunday

[ Escha comes over to where Ash is, down by the docks, and holds out an apple for him. She has another one in her other hand, for herself. ]

Two weeks in a row of getting it wrong. And having to watch... That.

[ Executions bad. ]

[ it takes ash a moment to realise his voice to text tablet is flashing because i keep forgetting he has it and need to remember, but he glances up when he realises it is. ]

Yeah, we're not exactly doing great here, are we? [ he takes the apple, thanks. there's a bottle of rum by him, what will happen if he offers that to escha...? ]

[ She shakes her head a the offer. She's still trying to hold onto not drinking when she's upset. ]

It seemed so much clearer than last week.

week 3 wednesday AM!

[voidbreaker]

[ what's up escha. ash is wandering through the portal again, and finds himself back in the pool area because all his snark aside... it is really nice and relaxing in this place.

he just gives escha a wave when he spots her. ]

[ She waves back. Here she is just. Staring at the water. This time she's the one with her feet dipped in! Her socks and shoes are sitting a little ways away, and her tail is gently wagging back and forth. ]

week 5, wednesday

[ Hewwo Ash, wherever he's at. Escha approaches with. Her hoodie and her tights to cover up, even though there's a bit of bandage poking out at her neck. it's. fine. ]
